Disc Golf Scorekeeper 1.1 Available Now!

Hello all! I have updated this post to let you know that version 1.1 is now on the App Store.  I am hard at work on version 1.2 now as well.

I’ve been getting lots of great feedback about the app both here and via e-mail, and I’d like to address a few of the issues that you have brought up (as well as some things that I thought needed to be added as well):

  • Player names font has been changed to something more readable
  • Pars can be imported when playing at a location that has been previously played
  • Previous Games may now be deleted – just swipe across them on the “Past Games” screen
  • Confirm quit on “End Game Here” button – Now, if you accidentally click this button, the game won’t end until you confirm that you do, indeed, want to quit.
  • Fixed an issue that could occur if “End Game Here” button was clicked at a certain time
  • Slightly improved interface for editing scores and pars

Progress is still being made on the GPS portion of the app, but I think I’d like to make some changes to how I am doing things since I have learned more about GPS in general.  Don’t worry, it is coming, but it just may be a longer wait than originally anticipated. Until that point, I will continue working on the GPS portion, and also, constantly improving the rest of it and adding more features as I can.

    Hi, thanks for update.
Some ideas i’d prefer before gps features
    1) support for 19 and 21 hole courses
    2) ability see the player score summary at any time

    Cheers,
    Hannu

    Hannu,

Thanks for your comment. As for your requests, I am going to do my best to get them into the next update. I think that #2 will definitely be in there, and I hope #1 will make it, too. It just depends on how much time is available.

I hope you enjoy version 1.1!

    Thanks!

I’ll agree with the previous post, you need to be able to view all of the players scores at the same time, like a real golf scorecard. I look forward to the gps setup. If these couple of things are done, all the guys will get this app.
