Beginner Flash Cards is now available on the App Store!

Saturday, October 30th, 2010

Beginner Flash Cards is a new app (one of three that was mentioned in the last post) that is aimed at teaching kids how to do basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  I originally created this app because my son’s teacher told us that my son needed to practice with some flash cards. I figured that this would be a great way for him to practice his skills, and that, at only 99 cents, it’s much cheaper than an actual box of Flash Cards!  Not only that, but with flash cards, I could only focus on one type of problem, not all four!

Once the app has loaded, you will be presented with the choice to decide which type of flash cards to use or to change the options related to it.

Once you have the options set up the way you like, and you are ready to play, click to get going.

The interface is simple-to-use, and large enough to make it easily accessible to children of all ages.  Once all the questions are finished, then the app gives a summary of how the player did.

I hope you will all enjoy Beginner Flash Cards!  It’s already been well beta-tested by my 8-year-old son! :)

As always, leave any questions you have about the app below!
